i got a code, and i tried to apply it to a new egg purchase, for a gtx260 card and nothing happened still says 0.00 under promotion on newegg, and does my code work as a 5, 10, 50 dollar code just depending on the model or are their diff codes?

I am assuming you are trying on the GTX 260 Core 216 correct.

There are different codes for each winner, so it depends on what code you have for the amount off you can get on the video card.

So umm tried to get the Gtx 260 core 216. All i get is this Although you've entered a valid promo code N*******R, your order does not currently meet the code's usage criteria. Ummm from they way i read no matter what the code is it should work for the GTX 260. Guess it's just one of life's great MYSTERY'S

So I got a code as well, typed in the SKU for the GTX 260 on newegg and added it to my cart.
I got the same issue where the discount wasn't taken off.
It turns out that the item number is incorrect in the promo code.
According to the http://portal.xlr8gaming.net/?page=speakvisual-prizes page, the newegg item number is 14-133-170.
But the actual number of the GTX 260 is 14-133-270
Perhaps you guys can do something to resolve this issue?

Thank you for catching this error i have contacted NewEgg to change the number so now you can purchase the GTX 260 Core 216, this should be live later today or tomorrow. If there are any other problems please bring them up and we can get them corrected as soon as possible.

All of you that are having problems with the GTX 260 Core 216 please report this in the "Report an Issue" button next to the spin wheen under the "Read the Rules" button, please write that you can not purchase the GTX 260 Core 216 with the code and please supply what code that you have won so we can fix this for you.

that's because you won $5 code. you don't know the value of the code until you actually go to your shopping cart and apply the promo code. keep spinning and you may win the $10 or $50 codes.
